Configuring drive bays in DSM

To set up hard drive bays in DSM (DiskStation Manager), the operating system used by Synology NAS devices, follow these steps:

To create a volume, click on the “Volume” tab in the Storage Manager and click on the “Create” button.
11. Configure the volume settings, including the volume type, file system, and size.
12. After creating the volume, you can set up shared folders, user permissions, and other settings to tailor the NAS to your needs.
